In order to play Battlefield 4 on low-end computers including mid range business laptops is reduce shadow map resolution witch is biggest performance hitter.

To reduce shadow map resolution you have to do it in-game, no ini file editing in this case is not possible, just launch game in "test range" mode hit console key (under Escape) and enter following command into console and determine value (256 is default value); example:

WorldRender.SpotLightShadowmapResolution 128

Game restart is required to make changes take effect

Fallout 3 GOTY Intro/Startup Freeze Issue FIX

Here is solution to permanent fix for Fallout 3 applies successfully to GOTY edition as-well

Fallout 3 is not quite old game but engine has some issues with processors that have more than 2 cores witch most of new processors have in these days. You can force the game to only use two of them and it will stop the freezing. I haven't had it freeze on end of intro once since I applied these modifications with new line to fallout3.ini file, screenshot with details is down below.

Open up the fallout.ini file using notepad witch is located: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Fallout3.ini

Find the line:

HOW TO fix/run Stalker Call of Pripyat to RUSSIAN Vocals with ENGLISH text

I love this game like most of hardcore stalker series fans, but I don't like the English voices with the silly accents, so lets change it to same level like Shadow of Chernobyl was - English text and Russian voices

There is a way to replace English voice-over vocals with original Russian vocals in same time by keeping English text including subtitles in game

GTA V Sales Success So Far, PC Release And Massive Illuminati References

Grand Theft Auto V' Day-One Sales To Hit 6.5M Units

“Early reviews of GTA V are just as strong as expected (mid-to-high 90s) which bodes well for sell-through,” says Bhatia. “We believe pre-orders for GTA V are very strong as: 1) there has been a gap of 5 ½ years since the release of the last GTA, which has created strong appetite for the title: 2) the installed base of Xbox 360 and PS3 is 3x larger than at the time of the release of the previous GTA; 3) DLC (downloadable content) is expected to be stronger than last time.”

Bhatia estimates day-1 sales of 6.5M units, noting that “a substantial majority of Game Stop stores” will be open at midnight for the GTA V release.

gta 5 illuminati“We see potential for worldwide day-1 sell-through of 6.5M units/ $400M for GTA V,” Bhatia continues. “For the September quarter, we have modeled ship-in of 13.5M units and for FY14 (ending March 31, 2014), we have modeled 18M units. For perspective, GTA IV (released in April, 2008) sold through 3.6M/6.0M/8.5M units on day-1/week-1/month-1. Also, for perspective, we note that Call of Duty: Black Ops II recorded worldwide day-1 sell-through of $500M last year.”

All told, Bhatia predicts GTA V will sell 18-20M units, “though expectations have been rising.”

The GTA V PC release date evidence came through Cinemablend, which reported on the data being leaked in a Pastebin file via Reddit.

According to the code, there is a section detailing "PC configuration overrides" and also as a line of "pc" code that seems to indicate a GTA V PC release date will be landing in the future for fans.

A PS4 version was also allegedly found in the game code under the platform name "Orbis," which fans remember was the codename given to the PS4 during development.

Just last month, an executive at Nvidia hinted at a GTA V PC release during a conference call with investors. Chris Evenden said, "The PC market is evolving. As entry level laptops face pressure from tablets. Yet sales of specialty PCs like gaming systems and work stations continue to grow.
